Each student can customize his/her solution according to his/her education and working experience. A student interested in a mechanical design course can choose one or a few software packages to meet the real job requirements. Currently, Metro College of Technology offers the following mechanical design software courses. Students can choose to take a complete mechanical design course package or just a few courses (like AutoCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Pro/E courses) or even one single subject (like Pro-Engineer, Inventor, GD&T, AutoPlant training). The college can also customize student's special requirements, especially when a student has an urgent demand. In order to prepare students with working experience in mechanical design, students working on their mechanical design course can choose to take the Mechanical Design Project.

Software Training for CNC Programmers, Machinists and Mechanical Engineers Course
This software course package is designed to prepare students to operate CNC machines and to do CNC programming manually and using MasterCAM. Students of the MasterCAM course will practice in a real working environment. Upon successful completion of their MasterCAM Training and practicum, students have further opportunities to work in other CNC production environments or proceed to advanced practicum to further enhance their working experience.
