Faculty of Legal Services
This program is designed to train students to practice law as a certified paralegal professional. Paralegal is a regulated profession in Ontario. Access to Justice Act defines what a paralegal can practice and what their responsibilities are. The Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) governs paralegals. Paralegal program will prepare students to fully qualified and competent in law services. To be certified as a paralegal, students who graduate from this program will be required to take an exam delivered by LSUC.
