Admission Requirements at Metro College Toronto
The following admission requirements are applicable to all programs offered at Metro College of Technology:
- Grade 12 Diploma (OSSD) or General Educational Development (GED) certificate;
- Basic Proficiency in English. The student is required to take an English test if English is his/her second language;
- One must be 18 years of age or older.
The applicant must provide photocopied proof of the highest academic level (certificate, diploma, or degree as well as their academic transcript). All academic documents must be certified English translations if the original ones are not in English. The applicants who meet the college's requirements will be considered for acceptance based on their merits. All programs are taught in English at Metro College of Technology and a minimum level of English proficiency is ESL Level 5. A student is required to present English proficiency proof or take an English test. If he/she fails the English test, the applicant must take the English course before she/he can begin professional training.

Application Procedures
- An application form must be completed;
- The application form is forwarded to the Admissions Office with proof of English proficiency and the highest educational standing achieved;
- The Admission Office will review the application form and the academic materials;
- The Admission Office will inform the student of the status of his/her application;
- If admitted, the applicant must sign an agreement for the program she/he applies for and provide a copy of photo ID.
